Should I use Dtube AND YouTube?

As a vlogger on YouTube, I obviously want to move all my stuff over to Dtube.

BUT

the question remains, should I keep posting on YouTube because it is ( for now ) the most widely used video communication channel.

OR

should I just only post on Dtube?

What do you think?

Because frankly, I can't figure it out for myself atm.

BOTH... advertise Dtube and steemit while you are there. :) Let people know about other Internet resources. As well as why you are vlogging both places. A lot of folks haven't the slightest clue about the dangers of some of those behemoth social media platforms. Let them know.

Thanks @tmike!!
I will do EXACTLY that!

Now that some time has passed, what has been your post style? I’m new to Steemit and literally just now found out about Dtube. I’m currently and active youtuber. Have you been posting any YouTube links on Steemit any more?

Heeey :)

Basically, I have only put up one vlog on Dtube and have completely stopped vlogging altogether on YouTube.

But I am picking up the camera and will start vlogging and ONLY putting on Dtube.

Youtube is dead to me.

cant you do both for a while and then asses how it's working after a while? you don't want to lose all your followers on YTube.

I guess that would make sense haha Or maybe just upload to both for forever ;)

No, slowly bring your folks with you. People will eventually begin using the alternative media platforms. But its up to the content providers to entice the viewer to go there. Youtube was the only place in town -- Not any more.

Thanks for this post. I am brand new to Steemit & Dtube and was just asking myself this same question
