Thanks for the positivity. I find it hard to follow most trending topics. I tend to do my own thing so I may never have a successful post. That's ok. :)

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    The community is still small and a bit homogeneous. As more people come to Steemit I think we'll start to see a greater diversity in popular topics.
