Is it just me, or did steemit just remove the Editor and HTML Editor Button which is usually located in the picture above indicated by that red arrow?
I was looking for that button to find bold function for writting my article.
I encounter this bug at 15.00 GMT +7 using Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit on ASUS X450JN browsing via Chrome Browser latest update without any Adblock Plugin or VPN
If anyone encounter the same problem like me, please comment below so we can discuss about this issue. Hopefully this is a temporary bug that steemit will fix.

Just Remove the text from description and the Editor button will appear again , and then rewrite or paste and then bold or do other operations there.

I've noticed that the HTML/Editor doesn't appear on my Google Chromebook. Therefore, you have to use the Markdown (which is pretty cool actually). This might be the issue.
