Seeking clarification on upvotes

Soo...

I hope that I can not be the only one who is not 100% sure on how upvotes work fully.Why is it that sometime when I upvote something sometimes the payout goes down,sometimes it goes up?

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
