Hi steemit, I have made this post to share the obvious mistakes that I have made while making previous posts. I want to help new users by pulling them from the deep end to the shallow shores. I know some users will laugh at this thought of someone who wants to start blogging without any knowledge on how to do it in this day and age! But trust me I was clearly one of that users.
I admit it. I had to google and quickly read guides on how to blog on steemit. It was easy to make headings, change word into bold. But when it came to adding images… Well my shark post and my introduceyourself post can testify to that! I used the first website that I can upload an image… That was a huge mistake! The links did not always work. It caused big damage to my shark post! Luckily I got a mentor @jacor please check his blog page Here He always has interesting stories!
He told me to use www.postimg.org click Here to upload your image. here is some user interface!
The second big mistake I made was not using websites to help me write my blog! Once again this came from @jacor. He told and showed me stackedit. This website gives you a nice user interface and shows you on a nice preview of how your post will look like. This is Something I highly recommend! Click here for Stackedit
The third mistake I made was being impatient. A good post takes time and effort. And I am not even talking about the time research takes (that is the fun part for me!) I am talking about the writing and styling process. The more time you spend better it will look. I used to rush it off, mostly because I worked at a weird time and I was excited to share what I have learned! But I have learned that a post is like making good fine art: It takes time! (I do like art, I paint myself here is something I am working on)
And that was my top three mistakes that I have made! I love blogging and like the to share my knowledge on things that I find interesting! The best part is, I learn allot! Leave a comment on mistakes you have made, ask questions and upvote and follow if you liked what you read!

I been on it it for a week now and still I'm trying to figure this out. I love the concept. It's way different than other sites but it's also complicating. I will take your advice. Thanks for helping us rookies. Live healthy and prosperous.
