Value can be defined as the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something. It is the basis for exchange. It is the reason why we trade and hustle. Money to some extent, is just a measuring and storing device for value. Value can be broadly categorized into two; real value and perceived value. Real value is basically about the real benefits something provides which is generally recognized while perceived value focuses on how a thing is presented and it's highly personalized . For example, the real value in a 2 star and 5 star hotel is accommodation but the perceived values for each of them are different , simply based on how they are presented and perceived. In essence, effective communication has a huge role to play here. The perceived value is usually a determining factor in the trade process.

So for every #hustlepreneur, the questions to ask will always be; what is the real and perceived value, what value am I bringing to the table? What is the value for exchange? Who is trading and where is the trade effected.

Answers to all the above questions and more, forms the basis for negotiation and maximization of returns on effort. They aid your sales process and helps to determine what you get from an exchange or trade at the end of the day.
The value of who is trading is as important as what is traded if not more. So much effort is required in making yourself valuable through constant acquisition of knowledge, skills and resources/tools.

Always remember that in the business of trade, Value is the substance.
