Hypermusic brings a traditional song and turned to SEMUJA for Malaysian Traditional dance (Dance Showcase)

Semuja is a group that had a collaboration dance with my music band, Hypermusic. This is because in my faculty in Sultan Idris Education University(UPSI), Faculty of Music and Art Performance (FMSP) have a diploma dance students which they need to make an event a Dance Showcase it is called Muzik Untuk Tari(Music for Dance). It is really important for them because it is one of the subjects that they need to complete it for their credit hour to continue next semester university.

The song we use for this is not related to our major instruments like a Rebana, Gambus, hand percussion, gong, cajoon box, or violin asli as we do not play as a daily routine. In the end, we can make it good even it not so well. Semuja actually brings five traditional songs like Empat Dara for Inang style, Joget Serampang Laut, Ottoman Empire for Masri style, Ya Ladan for zapin and Jalak lenteng instrumental for Asli style.

There are many hard things to share and very awesome experience for me to be with SEMUJA. Because of this experience, I learn a lot about the new thing in music. The transition of the song, style, instruments, dance and my life to unite with all the musician and dancers
