Our host Dr. Hilmi was kind enough to allow us to use his cosy coffee cafe as the venue for our first gig. I promised him that my post will carry this and and I am keeping to my promise #liberallatte.

The place is a cosy place that serves coffee NOT at the prices of gourmet coffee, but at rates that everyone can afford. It is liberation of good coffee!

A Night to Remember

This being our first gig in our attempt to bring the music to you, I am proud to say, we really have good friends. People who came from near and far to give us the support. Thank you @sireh and #steem-cartoon you guys are really something. We know its Saturday, bad traffic and it was raining but that never dampen your spirit.

You guys make no promises but you delivered everything that wasn't even promised. We love you guys for that.

Who are We

This is a budding community, one that is less than 2 months old. We try to make a difference through music and it was the idea of @zhusatriani and @calebleejl. If Music is a language, they speak Music. If would be a waste if we say #steem-music is limited to our geographical perimeters and it would also be incorrect to say that #steem-music is a sub community. We maybe small but we reach out to everyone, all you need to do is to love music, we are your 'home'.

Many of us call Malaysia as our home, but our community also houses artists from other countries and we encourage such participation. We are ever thankful to other communities that has been lending their weight to our initiative such as #thesteemengine, #teammalaysia, #myjuniors and #steem-cartoon. We also thank @bullionstackers, @whalepower and @my-reef from the neighbouring country for their constant support. When we are as small as we are now, every bit of support meant the world to us. I can't name everyone but from time to time, we will try.

@bitrocker2020, our community back you in your effort as the witness from Malaysia and we thank you and the unassuming @kevinwong that is always supportive of Malaysian initiatives. We didn't forget @sndbox and @sandbox-alpha that has granted generous upvotes to the artists from #steem-music.

You can be rest assured that our effort to spread our love through music will not stop here. There will be more to come. A joint collaboration with #myjuniors and #steem-cartoon is in the pipeline and there is the biggest event in our calendar, which is our concert.

We will keep to our tagline, 'We leave no note behind'.
