It would be much easier for Steemers to get to know me, and for me to get to know them, if we could pin our introduce yourself posts to the top of our blog pages.
This would be especially useful for people who write good introduce yourself posts who could bring a lot of value to the platform, but who's introduce yourself posts don't happen to get discovered when they first go live.
I would like this! Also LIke a library where we could save posts we really like.

Do you generally see feature request posts get much attention on here, or do you think the platform doesn't think they ad value 'cause they assume these sorts of things are coming already?

Feature request posts would have to be really well thought out and likely have someone promoting them to get out of the gates.
Yes, a lot of people don't have any idea what might be coming down the pike so are not too interested in voting up things that may or may not be implemented someday. You are going to have to build up a LOT of clout before your ideas are going to make a lot of money.
Things are moving relatively quickly with this to be honest. All I can say is hopefully someone that has influence picks up on your idea and it gets to the right eyes.
