The Steem Times - 2nd Update - Become part of our team

The Steem Times had received the support from @sndbox and @sndbox-alpha, being part of their summer camp. We sincerely want to thank @voronoi,@hansikhouse, @anomadsoul and @guyfawkes4-20 for this golden opportunity. This is our first news.

We are participating in the sndbox summer camp, where all the teams receive support in order to lead the projects to high achievement. The support given include advising, coaching, and supporting the teams’ decisions. This is a big step for us because we desire to see this project be the source for the truth and the quality content. We are going to need your help for that, hence there will be recruitment.

BECOME PART OF OUR TEAM

That is our second news. The team is formed by few people, each leads a particular section. However, the steem ecosystem is huge and it is impossible for the few of us to cover all. Therefore, we are recruiting and accepting new post.

As mentioned in our white paper, the topics which we are going to cover will be as follows (subjected to change).

Monday:

• Art and Culture
• Writing and Literature
• Sports

Wednesday:

• Philosophy and Religion
• World Politics
• Travel

Friday:

• Science and Technology
• Gaming
• Gossip and Lifestyle

And on every day, we are going to have a ‘News’ section and a couple of ‘Columns’ sections. You can participate in the section that you think you are capable of. For that, we have created this google form and if you want to participate, you have to follow the next template and fulfill all the mandatory sections.

For example, in the long answers section please use something like this at the beginning: Article. For Wednesday. Topic: Win Your Morning, Win Your Day. Category: Motivation and Inspiration.

After that, you write you post and include the whole post at the same section - With html or markdown included.

Your post will be checked by the team and it will be considered for that week’s edition or maybe for another one. You can send more than one post. We are looking for quality posts and all the posts submitted will be evaluated. Also, you can send your opinions or suggestions. Basically, this is your opportunity to be part of a real newspaper in steem blockchain and also in the part or section that you want.

We want to expand our team to the point of having a set of groups and writers who will work with us for every edition. We hope to work with committed people who are dedicated to create good original contents, as well as able to find an outstanding Steemian in the platform whom we can showcase.

NEW IMAGE

Last but not least; if you haven't noticed, we finally have our official image. It was a very difficult decision because all the designs were amazing, but the one we are currently using stands out among all and it reflects our vision and everything that we want to accomplish one day. We really want to thank our designer who is also a member of our team, @karmachela, for doing this for us. She is also the one who designed the logo, the banner and a couple of other similar designs to be used here in our post.

If you have any question, please do not hesitate to type at the comment section. And we hope that this little update could clarify the path that this project is heading towards. Do bear with us because we are only humans doing multiple jobs as well as other commitment in Steemit, and many responsibilities in real life.
