This year I've been cycling to the NorthCape. It took roughly one month for well over 3000 km, and the sunset there was just awesome! Actually, the sun didn't really set, but just dipped on the ocean and went up again. I have never experienced something like that before. The atmosphere is as if you're dreaming...
And so I did dream. I put up my tent 300 m above sea level at the rim of the plateau, watched the sun dance on the ocean and recalled all the adventures of my bike trip. My thoughts wandered of to the first moose I saw on the Lofotes and later the Reindeer around Alta (a norwegian city quite up north). The norwegian nature is impressive. From Fjords to Fjells, white beaches to sharp stone formations and forests - you can find anything there.
Next time I will go somewhere south, maybe Spain or even further: Marocco. I fathom the sunsets will be different, but just as remarkable as at the NorthCape.
