STEEMIT is now becoming more popular, with over 600k+ users! I myself have introduced STEEMIT to some of my friends, @sarcasm24 and @raqib4you

They were all tempted, including myself, with the idea of getting easy money just by posting! However, this is not so easy! Below are some tips on how to earn on STEEMIT.

  1. STEEM POWER!

Steem Power is the core of Steemit! You may notice that whales have high Steem Power, over hundreds of thousands! This is what determines your influence on the website!

So as beginners, the best thing you may do is not being tempted to power down and withdraw money using STEEM. The best shot is to accumulate Steem Power, and convert your SBDs into SP. This will increase your influence on Steemit.

Your steem power is always growing, even when you aren't doing anything. And the more of it you have, the more it grows. Think about it like rolling a snowball down a hill. Or when a train gets rolling and starts to pick up "Steem".

  1. Vote less, Create more!
You might see some Steemians who go around voting and voting, and not creating any content! While this might be the case for whales ( high steem power), who get a maximum of Steem Dollars and Steem Power based solely upon voting, this might not be the case for us, beginners!

Beginners do not earn much on curation rewards! The best way to earn for newbies is to keep creating quality content, and giving less importance to voting!

  1. Consistency

Stay active on Steemit, and post daily. On your first few months on Steemit, make sure to post everyday, or even 2 posts per day! Your consistency will gain you a loyal following and people will come to your page to see what you are up to and whats new with you and your thoughts.

However, do not spam because that will give you a bad reputation and people will not click your post.

  1. Commenting on posts!

While this may appear to be of little concern, it is one of the most underrated ways to earn on Steemit.
Look for posts which have tags that are of interest, and try to comment something. This may help you in expertise, or in earning rewards :)
  2. Originality

Copying content on the net is not a good idea as they are bots like @cheetah which will warn you at first, and then flag you. Steemit has always been the platform of quality and original content! Furthermore, a post of quality can attract upvotes from whales, which will give you a boost!

In order to create original stuff, lots of reading and brainstorming is needed! This is going to take a lot of time and patience. Nonetheless this will prove to be successful in the long run.

And use pictures! An image gives the reader a clue of what to expect once they click to read what you have to say.

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.
