I think the future of steam looks very bright comma I see more and more articles every day bringing this new platform to light and to the masses. As with anything it'll take a little while to really build momentum and we're still in that stage but the future is coming quick and it's coming very soon and I'm very proud to be part of it

That's amazing. @Velourex Thank you for the reply

Look at the growth in June alone. It doesn't say much for the long run I guess but when the idea of this platform is that people contribute and get paid for, then I see a golden future. Because every new person coming here wants to take a share of this and therefore starts to contribute.

On the other hand, Steemit needs to get more user friendly in order for newcomers to thrive and stay with the platform. I guess this is the biggest hurdle we have to take.

Agreed on the user friendly part. Early adopters can sometimes zealously defend new innovations that may stifle growth. We need to be as user friendly as possible!

We are in the infancy of real social change and Steem is a pioneer. I feel as if it will reach critical mass and really take off as people start to wake up to the censoring and manipulation. The idea of monetizing your activities in the community rather than having your activities monitered and monetized by others is exciting and has that sense of empowerment over our own efforts that so many of us are craving while trapped in an outdated system.
Although some pioneers can find themselves face down in the mud with arrows in their back... I think steem has a long way to go and will be a foundation for much more.

GATHERING STEEEEEEEEEEEEM!!!

well said!

It feels good. Thanks for the nice comment

It has a simple, yet complicated answer:

User adoption.

Steem needs to grow the user base in order to mop up the inflation. It's looking good at the moment, but so did MySpace back in the days.

Exactly!

Steem has a bright future!

If real users will use this platform then it will have a bright future. As of right now, people are spamming the whole site with their copy pasted articles. They are too much smart that they built bots for doing such things.
