Here we see the website https://steem.io and the stats for the last 2 years of Steem. $40.15 Million US Dollars worth of Rewards paid out, 920,800+ Accounts created, 1.5 million monthly posts and 3.78 Million monthly comments. These stats are a bit different from the stats on https://steemspeak.com with @banjo by @inertia but they are pretty close. @banjo says we have only 909K accounts:
So I wonder where the steemio stats come from, perhaps @mongo database is just being slow like always (Why can't Steemit Inc fix Mongo? Oh that's right we must wait for HF20 :D )

Why would much of any of it go to younger accounts?? They don't have any stake and thus no uypvote power!
Investors and steempower holders NEED to make their money back
New users should behappy to get just 1 penny, social media outside of steem pays them nothing
The reward pool is FOR investors ONLY and the SCRAPS can be for the noobs and content creators who never invest butjust earn, they will be grateful to getw hatever they can get!
The rwqrd pool is not public property to be divided up equally

sorry if am getting defensive but just want to make surepeople know this and underatand how proorf of stake works and how the delegation in delegated proof of stake is NOT a given and new users are NOT garunteed any of these rewwards they are NOT meant for new users but for WHOEVER the Steempower holders WANT it to go to!
And if a new user has good content they WILL get sen, if someone has a really good post they can show me in my comments if they make it relevant to one of my own posts , and anyhone can save up a few SBDS its true EVERYPONE can save afew SBDS to use Bid Bots to promote a first tome post of their own, and its better that opnly the smart and clevberist get rewarded early onm
Steem will be around for years
if new users want some bigger rwwards they shiould invest oin steempower or invest time in making PROMOTIONS for steem, creating TOOLS for steem, developing FRONTE NDS and APPS for steem and this is all someything that takes time, but in the nexty 10 years Hundreds of millions pronbobly BOILLIONS of dollars will be awarded in steem rewards in SBD Steem and Sp and we will see PLENTY of money go to the new users!
New users on steem have a better time making money than new users on ANY other blockchain :D

Great article, I have always loved to see all these statistics about steemians, every time I do im amazed that this community have grown so fast, and everything seems like we are going to make the steemit even popular than now!
Just take a look how many new posts are made every second, check out new and just refresh. It is simply amazing, and the best thing is that everyone gets a chance in here, it is all about the contribution into the community and how hard someone wants to help other steemians: I love that people seem to give up-votes only when the post or comment was helpful for them. Seems fair!
