Cryptocurrency is a new world for me. Why is Steem not on Binance?

in steem •  7 years ago  (edited)

I was wondering why Steem was not on Binance?
I use coinbase and Binance and had to figure out how to get steem coins.
At least I found out about Steemit and have had a lot of fun here so far.
I was still wondering why the coin itself is not on the exchange, is it available on any other exchanges?
In the future does anyone think Steem will go on some other exchanges?

Thanks in advance for the info :)

I definitely think it should be on Binance which is one of my favorite exchanges. I really like Bitshares decentralized exchange also, it has a few cool features and benefits in addition to the fact that it was created by Dan Larimer who created Steemit, you can take loans and use your Bitshares as collateral . Check it out if you like, I bought a membership, but it is free to join https://bitshares.openledger.info/?r=jaquith1

sign up for bittrex and get your Steem (exchange that would be) there :)

Cool I thought there would be a tleast one exchange that had it

necesito mas explicacion de bittrex

New world for me too @adamdonmez but I'd rather be in it and then figure it out as I go lol

I was thinking if more exchanges offer steem then it will drive the price up. More people able to put money in. Would be great to have a decent amount in a coin that was a few dollars and then went up a lot. I have not been lucky in picking a great coin yet early on.

I think its a case of time in the market rather than market timing :)

Wow, it looks like Korea beats everyone in investing in Steem by a longshot. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/steem/#markets

Yeah it's a truth that it is not on many exchanges that is affecting it's "going mainstream" strategy.
