I have been in the roller coaster of cryptos a little while now. Huge gains then huge losses. It can be like a drug the leaves you either wanting more or so disgusted that you just want to cry.
During the time since November I have watched my money growing to amazing heights followed by everything seemingly being cut in half every month or so. That is the nature of the game but I do believe that with time there could still be some big gains ahead. Maybe I am just telling myself that because I want it to be true. I was really surprised how much Ripple was went down, but this world is full of surprises.
I did like the idea of Steem because I thought most of us had our money locked in a with not being able to pull all of it out for 13 weeks, but looking around it seems Steem is just as volatile as the rest for the coins and that is ok because at least Steem lets me earn some coins. For now I will just hang on to what I have and see what happens.
Good luck to us all this year. Think positive and weather you decide to stay in this game or pull out just make sure you take some time to think it through.

I am excited to see the future of cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, I have only been in the space for a couple months now, but willing to wait a couple years to make some money. After all, everyone's goal is to get rich right? Good luck to everyone and their trading.

Followed and agree with the rush part. Sorry your Ripple disappointed you, I went with Stellar for these reasons basically Jed McCaleb left Ripple and founded Stellar, IBM backs it and the future looks bright. I've heard rumors that Ripple pays the banks to try it's platform. Not saying you should buy Stellar, just saying it's better than Ripple.

Steem is an altcoin like all others so it's doomed to follow what btc does unfortunately.. but steem will develop its own feet here soon, and once it does... moon baby :)

My friend @adamdonmez. Cryptos are unpredictable, i think that is why they reserve long decimal point. Eg 0.00000000 so that you wont be afraid going down to zero!!

I bought ripple at $2 .... its currently at about .50 cents ( I haven't checked in a few days ) ... While I am sure Ripple will succeed and I believe the price of ripple will bounce back to at least $1 .... I am less confident in its fiat value increasing to high amounts then I was when I first purchased.
