STOP WARS

in steem •  7 years ago

When Governments Have Disagreements They Send Each other's People to KILL Other Nation's People.

People Are Brainwashed to Think They are "serving" the Country!

Whoever Kills The Most PEOPLE Gets All Medals! They are Called HEROES.

We Spend Most Of Our Hard Earned Taxes On Military And Weapons Of Mass MURDER.

We Either STOP this Madness, Or go To War one Day.

With Today's Technology We Will Destroy Each Other or At Least Make Life on Earth Terrible for EVERYONE.

STOP WARS.

“He who joyfully marches to music rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder.”
Albert Einstein

And you want to see something funny try to find this quote in its full form as here ...almost every one you find will have this part removed ..
"and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism"

Nice idea but there is to much money in war it wont stop.

It Must Stop. It's A Time Bomb Everyone Is preparing for it.
Everyone Is Wait For Someone To Light 1 Match.
We Go To war, Or We Stop Wars and Insure Our Survival as Species for Longer!

Thanks for posting such a great topic. I think its a nice idea too, but also believe a lot of it may be for profit and reasons we have little to no control over... but I also agree with Einstein to a degree in that it will take huge changes in order to fix things. I even followed the link on the third comment to see a bunch of words and titles and things that I didn't quite understand, but that basically seemed to convey the feeling that despite the grim picture, there are many forces at work trying to stave off catastrophe... seemed kind of like confusing propaganda overall, but maybe the intention is there. And even if I could believe that I should trust that the world is actually cooperating and bringing together true peace, where does that leave me? How do I live my life today, knowing people and seeing things and seeing people and knowing things, just trying to live? Maybe we look at Einstein... maybe his allusion to a drastic change is on a larger scale... maybe if we use the knowledge and apply it to ourselves... then proceed... maybe a drastic change can be produced by an infinite number of minimal changes... just a thought anyways...

The militaro-industrial complex prevails :(

FIRST, you must stop greed. When you figure out how to do that, then wars will stop themselves.
