    It's a super valid question. There seem to be some folks who've come on here lately because they can bank big due to their following. IMO, that's fine. I'd do it too, if I could.
    On the other hand, a lot of posts with little to no value are banking large, while some good content gets totally missed. This is where I think the site is going to self-destruct, if something isn't done.
    I just posted an honest line of questions about this as well, maybe five minutes after you. Hopefully we'll see some good feedback and Steemit will rise above a popularity contest and really promote valuable content. I'd love to be a part of that, and get compensated decently in the process.

        Like what you'd usually like on other websites(Reddit, Quora, Facebook).
        Use "search" to find posts relevant to your needs(what do you do when you need answers? you Google).
        Encourage everyone to to do the same!

            Today I upped my Steem Power (more than doubled my power). I'd say that I am investing in steemit's future.

            Over the past week I have been learning as much as possible about steemit, posting, voting, and trying to contribute as best as I can.

            I look forward to watching this platform mature.
