Steem Velocity Hardfork - Hardfork 20

Yup, this is pretty accurate. Hivemind and SMTs are in parallel development and are of equally high priority. Like HF20 we have been working on these things for a very long time, and much of the work is done. But also like HF20 a lot of pieces have to be put in place before the "bow can be tied."

Thanks, @andrarchy. It's good to hear about the progress being made on all fronts. Even if we do seem to get impatient from time to time, it's mostly well intended, I believe. I know I'm not technical enough to really grasp what's going on Github, so I basically rely on those who know it/do it to explain where things are and such. So, thank you, directly, for your involvement, and all the others, as well as for these updates.

No worries! I understand the impatience, it's way better than indifference ;). If you'd like to get a better idea of what it looks like behind the scenes at Steemit HQ:

Lol! That’s great! And I’ve gotta admit, the passengers are a pretty good representation of us regular users! Totally explains why it’s difficult to talk some of our friends onboard at the moment... 😁 It takes certain types of people to enjoy the “beta” life.

This is hilarious, but it's given me a greater appreciation of what it's like for all of you. You don't really get the chance to take everything offline. From the moment of the blockchain launch forward, you need to keep it going even with hard forks or what have you. Hats off. :)
