Help Fix Steem's Economy!

I agree with all of this... The content that is supported day in and day out just isn't very good. I first came to Steemit because I heard about this amazing platform that promotes incredible content by individuals that are passionate and educated... unfortunately that isn't the case at all... There are so many accounts and posts that are promoted on the hot and trending page that honestly shouldn't be there.

New users will see this platform, look at those posts and think "wow... this is horse shit..."

I just hope that moving forward more people will the large amount of Steem power use their influence to promote the content worth promoting. The content that will actually attract people to this platform. Those with thousands of SP can make a huge difference by encouraging content creators to continue to create original meaningful content.

Accounts like tribesteemup and doing this and they have a great community behind them. I hope more people that have a ton of influence start to do the same before it is too late...

And I actually didn't know I was hurting the Steemit economy by selling my votes, I am not new to the platform but I still have a lot to learn. Honestly I turned to selling my votes because I just couldn't find enough posts worth up-voting...

I think this deserves all the up-votes it has gotten and in my opinion it deserves twice what it has now. Awesome post!

I can't believe I have not found your page until now, @trafalgar you have a new follower!
