This is how a conversation turned into a radio show:
More than 60 days back from now, @anutu and @ravijojla were shouting and laughing out loud each from there side of the Discord communicator, hardly believing what a gig in the sky will make the Barbarella poppet.
It all started with a good read called the Welcome Wagon Weekly Digest... one morning...The autumn was golden, ruby and brown, the sun was mild and tender, we were sipping coffee in the northern hemisphere, reading the digest.
There was something fizzy in the air above and suddenly @ravijojla broke the silence...
Anutu, darling...I don't see a particular reason that may interfere with us having a radio show, once we have your papers...
the heavy rains in Malta brought a dumb YEPPP!
...so, you don't mind co-hosting a show with me, do you?...
No, he didn't mind.
...and this was the end of all silence in the Universe for many, many years to come.

The Barbarella show was always about embracing the community by shining some light on high quality Authors and blogs with the Author of the Week Award for the best blog on Steem, explaining Steem and Crypto-related Trends and News, sharing the wisdom and the otherwise secret insights of the Big Fishes on the platform and last but not least, introducing most innovative community-minded new Steem-Projects!
Meanwhile, The @Barbarella-Show not only turned into a place on Fridays to offer relaxation after a fully-packed week but also into an INCUBATOR of Crypto/Steem INNOVATIONS and BUSINESSES that offer a WIN/WIN situation for the community and the innovators alike.
Our Plans
More WIN/WIN for the Community
Since some weeks @ravijojla and I have been busy working to bring Barbarella to a different level. Barbarella as an Incubator is being turned even more into a community-minded platform itself offering much more than before:
A Platform for new innovative projects:
We offer selected community-minded projects a boost, tools, and contacts bringing more visibility to value projects and initiatives. Whether it is an app or a curation project or any other new and innovative project that will bring a clearly defined bonus to the community or holds the potential to promote Steem. Barbarella will check the founders and the project with her magnifying glass and when it is approved it will be supported by the Team of The @Barbarella-Show thus taking success to a new level!
We go even further. In the near future, we plan to connect investors and delegators with the founders of community-minded projects thus supporting their success even more.
The Steemit Book of Wisdom!
Barbarella will publish a printed book. Yes, one of these old-fashioned books that can be bought all over the world! Of course, there will be also several download format versions.

New Technology:
Yes, we streamed every show so far from our own laptop's - our own, old regularly crashing but beloved laptops - with minimal equipment. I have to apologize for the sound quality so far. We tried our very best. But with our plans to turn Barbarella even more into an incubator for the community, it seems we need some enhancements.
A new Steem Account:
Yes, Barbarella from now on has an own, dedicated Steem Account! Yeah! You find it here: @Barbarella-Show!
We still would need some delegation as you all are aware of the RC problems we have. I will also delegate, but as I have a very high RC demand with the work I do for @welcomewagon and other projects and as I am not a Whale being just a little something in the pond, we really need some help.

This is not the end of the planning and not the end of our development with The @Barbarella-Show! This is for sure! From now on we will post regular updates on everything we do and create for the community. Stay tuned and stay steemitted!!!
Barbarella is a Gem!
Yes, we started only months ago, but Barbarella is for sure a gem. Without you ALL, we are not able to turn Barbarella into a diamond and fulfill our goal to support the community even more! Supporting the community, creating Win/Win situations and promoting Steem outside the Steem-Ecosystem was always an important goal and is an important goal even more for the future!
