1st Week Experience as Steemian

I bought my Steem account thru BlockTrades.us therefore I got INSTANT access not like if you sign up at steemit.com (I signed up January but until now I haven't received an e-mail/approval).

I spent a lot of reading and voting for some witnesses during my first 3 days before publishing my "introduceyourself" post thru #eSteem android app. I like #eSteemapp because we get notified when we send/receive STEEM/SBD. I haven't used the SCHEDULE POSTING feature because I only login using my POSTING KEY though I know it is a TRUSTED app. I only use my master key at SteemConnect at this moment.

I was surprised when I received 0.001 SBD from one witness I voted for. Then I also received 0.001 STEEM from @hugewhale. Out of curiosity, I sent 1.000 STEEM to 'hugewhale' to see if I could receive upvote only to realize I did a stupid action. Its 100% upvote worth is less than $1.000 so even if my post get upvoted by it, it is still a LOSS. I've just wasted my money! My "introduceyourself" post was resteemed and got several upvotes but with $0.000 value! Bye bye 1 STEEM! I learned my lesson so after receiving another 0.001 SBD from @bestboom I just ignored it.

While reading other's posts I noticed some comments from @brupvoter etc. I like what I read on brupvoter's profile so out of curiousity again I sent my 1.000 STEEM remaining to brupvoter. I am glad my "introduceyourself" post finally received upvote with VALUE! I will continue using brupvoter to QUICKLY increase my Steemit 'reputation' unless I do not receive my money back. I will try @postpromoter once I earn 4 SBD or more.
