Why is the price of STEEM different on Steemit market than Bittrex ????

Bittrex: About 4$

Anyone has a clear explanation ?

    The price depends on the traders in each specific market. traders on poloniex might be so eager to hop on the steem train that they are willing to spend a bit more then those that have been on the steem craze already.

      Yeah but it's a 25% difference ... Not a 'bit more', a LOT more .... why would any one do that ? Or maybe the Steem market deal with Steem Dollar .... things are not yet clear ....
