As a minnow, both to the whole crypto thing as well as the STEEM platform, I found it a great relief to finally get definitions of some of the alphabet soup around here. A full glossary by one of you crypto-geeks would be most appreciated! --I'll read the white- and blue-papers, for sure. I'm a bit bumfoozled about how we can "start a business," here, but get censured for SPAM.

All in all, this essay has clarified SOME of my fog, and I'm sure as I continue to learn "the language" here, more of it will lift. I haven't even really done my true introduction, yet, I'm more comfortable lurking and dashing out for a bite now and then.

Every time I get ready to jump in feet-first, I realize how little I know, and turn into a timid little minnow again. Thought I'd be thoroughly STEEMed, by now!
