Is there some post that has documented the drama going on that can fill me in? I'm pretty new here and totally out of the loop.

Also, is there an explanation for how this can happen (or what changed for this to happen):

Unless he comes up with some significant votes or powers up, his posts will be earning less than $20 each!

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    Ah, I think I may be able to answer my own question after doing some additional research. Looks like the new "Hard Fork 20" update will start to change the way votes impact posts/users in a more "democratic" way.
