    Steem is less than 50 cents at the moment. :) It's not the cheapest way to buy steem but it's the easiest or simpliest way. The exchange rate at Bittrex in lower than BlockTrade so you can get more steem out of your BTC on Bittrex but it's a bit more complicated.
