The daily Bernie idgaf post

I'd have to agree there. :)

As cheesy as it sounds; the community...

The chicks love it.

The original idea was good.

I love how it enables people to make a buck from doing shit that wouldn't make them a dime on other social media sites

In the name of our lord, Steem, amen. Haha. :P

Definitely the community... but drama would have to come in at a close second lol

Definitely. lol. Great community, great drama. Who doesn't like a little bit of mixing it up from time to time? ;)

uncencored, transparent, earn money many good article such education

That's the best part about it. good article, such education. The holy grail of internet. So money. Wow.

That hurt my fucking brain just trying to type that illiterately. Fuck. :(

that is wee feel lucky in this platform

I love everything bud...even its damn flaws that are countless...for now.

Hopefully one day...

Nothing in life is perfect. This place is no exception. I think the problem is that not enough people find beauty in chaos and not enough people interact with people on the most basic and raw of levels. Everyone wants to complicate shit and be so "deep" and I think they try too hard for the most part. That's why I'm drawn to simpler aspects.

what i love about steem, its gives more value to your content with the tribes, but i was hoping to see your tribe @berniesanders?

I have no plan for a tribe at this time.

but we should keep our fingers crossed?

Hot chicks!

Steem: A beast of a blockchain with basically instant transactions and no fees! (Especially when I play Splinterlands!!)

Steemit: A positive, open-minded community that mostly supports great positive content, and flags most junk that litters all of the other social networks.

I agree 100% with the comments about Steem.

I find the "social" aspect of this blockchain to be outdated. It was only meant as a means to onboard users, not the end game.

I agree there. It seems as though development should be the key ingredient here, but it will always have this social aspect tagged to it, so in a way it could apply to the realm of "end game" if you look at it a certain way. I'm trying to up my developmental knowledge a lot before I even attempt it, but I want to develop a game of my own design for the blockchain. I see the most potential in steem coming from it's ability to be used efficiently for microtransactions in gaming.

In addition to that, users could give feedback directly to devs. The social aspect has more advantages than just "making eachother feel good by voting and giving value," it has the ability to provide direct feedback/reviews/input from users of products developed with the chain as a foundation. I'm not sure what SMTs are or how they'd play into things ultimately; I haven't done my research on that aspect. I think as things currently stand, there is enough of a baseline to generate things of much higher quality than has been pushed out so far (With obvious exceptions such as splinterlands. Splinterlands also being a game, has had incredible success on the chain and done exceptionally well. It also shows just how simple it is to use cryptocurrency and blockchain tech/apis to create complex features.

Sorry, I'm rambling. I'm high as shit on some good buds. My bad. :)

Think about companies that seek to provide social services, being able to be funded by upvotes and conversion into fiat, without having to do anything more than post about their contributions to society... The potential for this blockchain to flourish and for steem to rise above $1 and beyond again, is infinitely viable. We haven't even touched the tip of momentum with what's possible with this technology/structure. :) Just my two cents. Not that anyone cares. lol

If only Dan was still around to see his plan through (lol)

It's a nice way to monetize your content
A steemer has a profit share of their content compared to the web 2.0 social media users
But I still feel steem requires a competition, thats the only way steem will moon to $10

Development, by a team and by the community, is the way to $10 steem. I promise, if enough quality development is done and enough variety of options is provided by and for the community at large, in new and unique ways, there will be plenty of inward coming cash flow across the board. There just needs to be more effort into that across the board. It seems that those who have been here for a while though, are a bit nervous as to whether things will ever recover, so they are in a stalemate with their own ideas of value of time invested. They're worried they'll put in time, develop something, and steem/sbd will crash into the ground.

The reality is, there are many massive stakeholders that will sell off a lot of steem, even when it rises to .30-.40$, so unless the community is buying it and holding onto it and continuing to earn/produce/hold onto it, it will continue to cycle as such. Most things in life are cyclical or habitual and trends with values of cryptos are no different. A lot of it has to do with the fact that in these cases, emotion is tied in heavily. It's hard to fight emotions, especially fear. When there's a legitimate fear of losing something completely, it's much harder to invest yourself fully into something. If the united states government said right now that they would forever and always back steem at a 1:1 ratio, to the usd, we would see an incredible pop/boost/influx of development. People would be certain, because a government is ensuring it, that they would earn something worth a dollar, thus removing that fear. Without the fear of loss present, so much can be achieved, but when it is present, it can be crippling/stunting/cause use to freeze and wait.

Progress is the action of moving forward, of advancing. We cannot do that if people are standing still, waiting to see what happens here. Not developing, not producing anything truly new or unique. Progress requires motion, it requires action, not passive behavior.

We can talk to different people and get to know different cultures.

I think that's probably one of the most powerful aspects of everything. Although, I think that's the most powerful aspect of the internet period. It's ability to link people from any given place, in a real, even if it is digital, way.

I love Steemit as a social network, within which, registered users can upload and share content visible to others.

I like it because it pays since I use it as a job.

it is a possibility to enter the crypto world without investing and risks.
steemit as a front end, i almost forgot how it looks like. steemit as a company, well they are trying.

Totally agree @bil.prag.. I've never used steemit but I survived and now have a bit of bitcoin, as well as a basic knowledge of blockchain and crypto

Posted using Partiko Android

steem was my first crypto, and all i had to do is register (not that easy :) ) and post and comment. then when i got some steem (and it was some time, so i had time to learn about wallets, exchanges, keys, blockchains ...) than i could test how it all works. think it is much easier first contact with crypto than if i had to first learn about wallets, keys, look through the web where and how to spend my fiat to get buy btc. i bought some few times but till then i already knew how and where because i first tried to get from steem to my local Dinar.

Yea it's usecase can definitely be cryptography 101 with some better condensers and search capabilities.. I actually lost my posting key and attempted to log into steemit to retrieve it but access denied with my active key.. Any ideas what to do? I don't want to use my master key and don't know what wif is.. It still says get paid to post LMAO they're so out of touch and well dumb !

Posted using Partiko Android

someone smarter will maybe answer that :D

well it is technically true :D if i cashed out my 30 days of steem i could buy a dinner at a "normal" restaurant :D but the get rich from posting turned out to not be that great of a strategy :)

Yea true I earn enough for a happy meal monthly

Another great reason. There is no cost of entry, paired with an ability to earn. Can't beat that! Won't see facebook offering that, even with their "Libra" fakecrypto. That'll be sold by the coin, by facebook, with no real backing. Shame. Meanwhile, people like us, who have a fucking brain, will earn for our opinions, our sharing of ideas, art, music, cultures, etc.! :)

That it ACCIDENTALLY got a bunch of things right for a crypto project

  • Human readable addresses
  • Mining possibility for normies by writing content
  • TX/min is decent
  • Automatic marketing by content creation
  • Can help people across the globe
  • No ICO (technically)

Writing content being looked at as mining is a great comparison. Another you could look at it as, is essentially a faucet! Except here, you get paid different amounts based on how much value people see in your "Captcha" (Comment. :P) and you don't just type random letter and number combinations in, with no real purpose.

The human readable addresses is definitely another major selling point. I can just tell someone my address, no need for a QR code, no need to copy/paste or carry a thumb drive with a text file, etc. I can just tell them "Send the steem to @lookplz, thanks." :)

All of your other points are valid as well, but these ones stand out the strongest for the common user.

Actually, that's not a bad idea for a company to build off of...

Imagine, something to validate humanity, similar to captcha. The company has a steem account (They wouldn't need one though, even, probably.) and they use the api to monitor the chain. The verification app shows the image as usual, the input it, it posts under the app id on the chain, the company's monitoring bot picks up that the correct information has been posted to the chain, they are verified human! :)

I love steemit because i sare my things knowleges and photos here and all my works are reward

It gives me a place to rant and rave without getting physically beat up!

I love everything about steem. Especially engagement.

I love that its the easiest way to get yourself involved into crypto and blockchain. The community is good but the dramas are better.
Some authors are really good and i like reading their contents.

I love it because it is one of the best faucets in all of crypto.

It was my onboard to the crypto world and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

  • The fact I got to meet awesome people which made me forget my initial dream to get filthy rich showing off pictures on the chain...lolz
  • Since the birth of steempeak.com, everything that is passing my feed I enjoy.
(The Steem blockchain should be the number one playground for photographers ALL over this planet)
  • brosinopoker.com
  • Steem communities (when m00n;)

I love all the great interaction and humor

I found one. MUTE!

Too many people have praised about Steem. Falling prices have made many people lose their money for now. Price movements are also destroyed now, and their functions are also below average. I like the old Steem.

I like the general idea of a decentralised and self sustainable platform capable of taking us on the next level. But we all know how it all went the wrong way...

I love Steem Wallet. I wrote why in more details in the following post:

https://steemit.com/jackdorsey/@geekgirl/letters-to-jack-dorsey-beauty-of-the-steem-wallet

Decentralization! Oh wait are you being serious or trolling?

The only social network that gives reward for your posts when compared to insta, snap, fb etc...

Lack of censorship .. dumb people .. crypto kitties .. uh.....

There's a handful of like-minded people who are actually fun to interact with. Sure, there's rotten eggs too, but those are everywhere and if you didn't have those, you'd know that you were doing something terribly wrong.

I'm hopeful for Steem. One day...

  1. The Drama

  2. The Tech of free transactions and human readable usernames.

I can find quality content.

.

I Love steem with no reason. My be this is called a blindnes love.😄😄😄💪

The fact you get rewarded with all kind of worthless tokens.

For me I have always enjoyed it as a place to explore my creativity.
I have generally found it easy to sniff out the real people around steem, to form friendships and feed back loops with so many folks from all over the world has been sweet.
