I understand. I can see how that could be an issue of concern. Basically being silenced by the wealthy if they don’t agree.
As for the RC’s...yeah it’s a major issue for new accounts. Not sure what the fix would be.

Yes, Wealth has always opposed free speech! They want to decide what we can, and can Not, say!This is the first step toward servitude; or blood in the streets! Since the first is totally unacceptable...it looks like the second may be imminent.
The RC Change was advanced as a way to support new accounts, and raise retention of new accounts. It has NOT done that, but has rather destroyed almost all of them, across the board. I have worked on new accounts since before I joined the Engagement League, to encourage them to stay active, and grow.
The fix is easy, reverse the Hard Fork and return to the pre fork software. This software change was a Disaster for new accounts. It only helped the hardware running steemit, by cutting the traffic to 30% of pre hard fork levels! Apparently, it has allowed some whales to cash out too....
