How long does it usually takes to get steem account confirmed?

Hello there. I have few friends who I recommended steemit and they are already signed in, but waiting for account confirmation. I would want to start moving more of my friends over here. How long does it usually take to get the account confirmed? Any idea?

      Ok one of my friends got it confirmed now. Took 2 days. Not bad!
