Very interesting concept. The future is bright.

I hope Steemit will integrate the Referal system they spoke of.... then the on boarding will really take off!

Wish I could make it out to the meetup this weekend. 10 hour drive is just too much

I hear you! You may be right but I'm not a big believer in build it and they will come. We need to get out in front of on-boarding. Frame the discussion ourselves. That's where the Film Festivals come in to play! My secret (not so secret now) weapon!

Agreed. I do the same at Improv Festivals and within the improv community. Good luck with your efforts.

Cool! I take it you're an actor! I did improv with second city a while back. Wasn't very good at it! ha! The Film Festival is the venue for us. The objective is the publicity focus on a narrow group but one that is worldwide! Get the message out - Fund your films through Steemit rewards (eventually with steem.film SMT called FLIX - ha! the method in my madness!

It is a great time to be into film making. Great technology available and ideas for funding like this!

Your thoughts are these ideas that will improve the level of beginners and all of your followers on your page in Steemit and chain youtube Thank you for your posts and the great effort you are doing . It is great to use the technology blockchain general and platform steemit special in the production of movies . @brian-rhodes

Thanks.

The idea of exploiting the technological development in the film industry is very important and will help in the development of this area, especially steemit.com platform of low cost and profit is large, even in terms of advertising is seen in the world.

If you are right then it will be beneficial for everyone. All your ideas are very good

Very good idea, i think your idea will be success.

Thank you!

yes this is great idea

Thank you.

Your ideas and project are so interesting. Now I have to catch up on past videos.

Creative yes! Ha! Worth an up-vote... no. Sorry.

I hope you don't think I'm spamming for an upvote. I actually meant that I'm interested how you make this work and I'm watching some of your older videos to get a better understanding. I didn't type out everything that was in my head but I'd like to make an animated short someday.

Yes. I did. But I was wrong. I apologize. I try to answer every comment, 90% of which are spam unfortunately. But where I see a glimmer of hope I try to reach out. And you responded. Excellent! Thank you for going back and watching some videos. If you're interested in animation stay tuned. Soon we'll be trying to set up steem.film a new site like steemit.com built on the Steem blockchain and using the SMT 'Flix'. In steem.film we expect to have an animation community! Love to have you be a part of it! Stay tuned. Love the fractal writing contest by the way!

Ne güzel paylaşım teşekkürler 🤗

Very good

Very interesting to hear your take on film festivals - I completely agree that they are a very effective marketing vehicle. At one time, there were only a few big festivals on the radars of most people (Sundance especially), but now it seems like every major city has one. I'm in the New York area, and Tribeca Film Festival is arguably the best known and most famous. But there are plenty of big-time film festivals sponsored by Lincoln Center and tons of smaller film festivals as well, some of them dedicated to very arcane topics (like one that's dedicated only to films shot by drones!).

From my perspective, I think your notion of "the first blockchain-funded film" (i.e. first Steem-funded film) could be very successful as a proof of concept for other filmmakers. Wish you luck on the project - I'll be following along on a regular basis...

Thank you!

What a great idea pushing the little guy through indie film fests. Thanks again @brian-rhodes
