It has been one week that I joined the steemit community.
Like many, I believe, the prospect of attaching a potential money reward through the posts is what attracted me to this social media/crypto chainblock platform.
During those few days, I enjoyed posting some videos, cartoons as well as random thoughts like the one I am presenting in this text.
I have also enjoyed discovering the posts of some regular bloggers who introduced me to news, I would have not otherwise discovered.
However, I was surprised to see day in and day out, simple posts that are just asking us to upvote and follow them...but what for?
There is no blog,no article to read, no personal thought on any subject that has been expressed, no culinary recipe that has been shared, not even a link to somebody else's work, or a flower from google images.
Just a request to upvote and follow.
So they want to be followed and upvoted for no reason whatsoever, for the sake of it, just because they exist.
Ah, if life was that easy.
I believe that the fact that any content posted can get some money reward, even if it is pennies, is more than we could have bargained for, to start with.
So, we should respect this opportunity as well as others by providing at least "something" .
I believe that no matter what, that "something" will always resonate with "somebody"
Peace
