The Manchester teams are really unstoppable right now because you can see their zeal to win every single game, the league power changed completely and I am not sure the Manchester clubs are ready to let go as they sit first and second on the English premier league table.
Manchester City extended their lead on the league table over the weekend with a narrow win over the North London side Arsenal, City has been at the peak of their form lately and they are getting the required points from every match.
The victory at the Emirates Stadium means they defeated Arsenal in both legs of their 2020/21 Premier League fixtures, the goal margin was small but I believe the three-point matters most to every football club.
Manchester City now sits 10 points above Manchester United in the second position with a difference of 14 goals, the difference would be a tough one for United to pursue and I am sure Manchester City wouldn't allow themselves to fall from their top spot. Arsenal remains at the 10th spot with 34 points and it could get worse for them if nothing good happens in the team.
Raheem Sterling got the only goal of the match, the English forward gave his side the lead two minutes into the game. Riyad Mahrez directed a square ball into the Arsenal box and Sterling was in the position to nod the ball into the net.
City dominated the first half so well that they had 70% of the ball possession at some point in the game but Arsenal was able to tighten up themselves to reduce the possession in the second half both couldn't get an equalizer.
