Yes, Its hard to grow on steem ...

I've received a few comments off and on Steem regarding the inequality of this platform. The fact that the distribution of Steem Power is very skewed. This is undeniable and of course it does bring to the surface some major challenges for the newer users who are joining and starting from scratch.

The truth is that, I understand very much so the issue and sympathize with those who jump into the platform and start to participate of Steem right away. It's apparent that if you are not starting with a big account, if you are not someone who enjoys a certain level of influence, you will have to work really hard to make a difference. I can accept this seemingly negative fact, but also not be blind to the fact that life in many ways is very much the same, and maybe none of us should be too surprised.

What I'm trying to say basically is that like many things in life, success, growth and relevance is a battle uphill that not everyone is willing to work for. Yes, we not all start from the same point, but I'm sure almost everyone can name someone who started from an non-advantageous situation and through sheer work and dedication made a difference.

I will go even further with this thought at the risk of offending someone. Success only belongs to those who are hungry enough to chase after it, and if you are having thoughts of giving up, because this is too hard, because someone criticized you, because someone flagged you (certainly my case), then it means that maybe this venture is not for you.

There is no one way to grow on this platform, not one formula anyone could give you or sell you that would work every single time and for all users. This path is one of discovery. If you are brave enough to stick around through the learning process, through the painful mistakes, you will certainly make a difference. But, the choice is up to you.

You have spoken nothing but the truth @chbartist. Life itself isn't fair. Some people have an unfair advantage while some of us need to work extra hard to get there.

All the same, those who do get there despite the odds do so out of share determination and desire

That is exactly it, some people don't like the truth, but its evident for those who open the eyes.

Thanks for your post @chbartist! I truly believe all new comers you should read this following.

If you are brave enough to stick around through the learning process, through the painful mistakes, you will certainly make a difference in Steemit community and you will be successful...

Glad to have you on this platform!

You’re welcome and have wonderful day :)

I was inactive for a time being. Good thing is I have now planty to read :-)

I was wondering, i had not seen you for a while.

I think this platform has become a heaven for the person who joined this earlier. They could have gathered so much SP that they have become able to take lion's share from the reward pool. A single person is able to post 10 posts per day. His every post earns more than 200$ and which amounts to 2% of total reward payout of this platform.
Also some persons using that much SP to silent everyone who raise a voice against them. They simply flag the post which they don't like.
Hence, in my view this platform has become a oligarchic system where minority is enjoying blatantly while majority is struggling to survive.

Its just a call for us to work harder..

Success will be gained through hard work. there will be no results if we just wait, then we have to keep trying. start from the lowest point first. a very good post @chbartist

Inside and outside the platform the way to achieve our goals is similar, it starts with having clear goals and the steps to achieve it, and surrendering is not an option, that is the difference between the one that succeeds, the perseverance. I wish you much success in your life.

Work hard and learn from everything

Sometimes no matter how inequality the platform is, I still truly believed that focusing on quality contents will eventually wins over the long-term.

I got the feeling, that everyone who joins at the moment, still has the chance to grow fast. There is a lot of learning to do here and there but there are also great resources available. But like you said already, you need to put in some work
