It might just be an artificial milestone but overcoming Litecoin seems like a big deal.
Everyone that's been in the crypto space knows Litecoin as the first altcoin. I remember when Bitcoin was rising in the early days, a buddy of mine that missed the boat texted me: "What about Litecoin? Should I buy that?". I was mindblown by the text, ANOTHER BITCOIN?!!, I thought.
When STEEM overtakesing Litecoin, whether it's a big deal for y'all or not, it will be is a big deal for me (:
From there it's just a tiny little ways away from overtaking Ripple's market cap, putting us on the podium as part of the top 3 Blockchains on coinmarketcap.com
So move over Litecoin! Nothing personal ^^
