What is the cost benefit analysis of Musing incorporating “advertisements” to those outside of steemit?

Advertising is one of the key income source for the comparable business models like quora. 

In my opinion the advertising will provide a good revenue source, once the questions asked on musing become visible in google. These are the viewers who would be shown advertisements

There are couple of things which would happen before the musing starts appearing as source of knowledge in Google.

  1. The variety of questions would have to widen - current focus of questions is steemit, dApps and musing. 
  2. More users would have to start to using the platform - more the audience, more is the value advertisers would derive.
  3. Significant amount of efforts would go in search engine visibility

Alexa Rankings


Currently, alexa rankings reveal that musing is one of the top half million websites globally and one of the top 10k sites in venezuela. The closest competitor ranks in top 100 globally.

Moz Authority

Lot of efforts would go in building backlinks and domain authority on Moz.

These efforts would help musing to not only build the reputation but will get visibility in the search space. Once non steem users start reaching out to musing through referral channels then it would make the efforts of advertizing worth
