Best of Steemit Every Day
Every day, I bring you eight posts you should think hard about upvoting and supporting. These are quality posts, well written and good examples of the best the community has to offer. Please consider checking them out, and if you agree, love them up.
Today, a plea. Support the people that generate good content. Go to their posts, upvote them, and follow them. Help them realize some rewards for their work. This can be a hard place to put content, with so much noise out there. BestOf exists to help you cut through some of the clutter, so use it to help those people that are producing quality work. That’s how we get more of it.
Today's Best
Writing (Fiction): Echoes of Tomorrow’s Past, Part 9 by @ezzy. Whale alert, but the writing is good and the story compels. This is how you do this, although I wonder about its length for the medium. When you make a couple hundred a post, I guess the length is good.
Writing (Nonfiction): Things That Could Go Wrong With Tomorrow’s Hard Fork by @whatageek. You know about Hard Fork 19, right? Coming tomorrow? Well, here’s a list of things that could go wrong that you absolutely have NOT thought of or prepared for. Invaluable post.
Writing (Craft): 3 Time-Saving Game-Master Tools: Become a Better Game Master and Story Teller by @decimus. Why this game post in the writing craft section? Because good game-mastering is good storytelling. And if you ever get stuck in a story, and don’t know how to proceed, throw some dice and go with whatever happens. It will get you unstuck, that’s for sure. It’s a good post.
Steemit community: Is Commenting Really Worthwhile? TLDR; YES! by @condra. Superb post on the value of comments, how to do them right, and why you should be commenting instead of just upvoting.
Introduceyourself: Ivan and His Not-So-Clickbaitish Introducing Title by @life.thoughts. I’m gonna say this once: read this post. It will make your life better. I promise you this.
Steem: Cryptocurrency Monday Recap by @koffee. I hope this is going to be a regular thing. It was a nice presentation of the big coins I care about, with some analysis for those of us not entirely up to speed.
Photography: Nature, Sea, Alien Attack by @terrycraft. Great photos here, and a nice ending twist.
Special Prize: Dungeon and Steem Day 2: Ambushes, Ambushes Everywhere by @fingersik. I’m gonna keep putting this guy in BestOf, because he is one of the best guys on Steemit. Support him. Seriously, I’m not kidding. If you like gaming or not, this guy is killing it on behalf of the community, working hard and generating really good content, and he deserves to be rewarded for it. That’s an assignment, people. Upvote this guy, follow him, and encourage him. He’s one of the good ones.
As always, suggestions for posts to honor are gratefully accepted.
