Curation trail is on the cards.

Tonight @abh12345 was offering his services again which is usually fairly important. It should be important to all of us anyway that want to know how we are doing and where we can improve. This is one big game with value attached to it so we should have a driving force of being able to do better by having all the information required.

The graph tonight was about how well you are doing with the curation side of things in vests. I was happy to see mine as this is one area I have worked on and starting to understand it better than I did 3 months ago. Back in January I was already on the up in curation and was around the 3.2 SP per 1000 SP held and today checking against Steemworld I was on around 4.4 SP per 1000 SP which is over 35 % improvement and it is still climbing.

I have been asked in the past to set up a curation trail and I will in roughly 6 to 7 weeks time. I have always had a goal of becoming a Dolphin first and then it frees me up to play a little more. If all goes to plan by mid to the end of June I will start a trail and let everyone know.

I was looking at other trails who say they are curating to gain rewards and run by some large accounts who I thought knew what they were doing and obviously they don't. I think the accounts that are following them are even more clueless for not picking up on how badly they are actually doing.One trail has a few 1000 and is operating at 23% which is poor. Maybe before the last hard fork that was acceptable, but today things have changed.

I enjoy numbers and figures so I don't see this as work,but more of a hobby and having fun at the same time.What is achievable I don't know but in my head I am thinking somewhere between 6 and 7 SP per 1000 SP

That would be really impressive if you could reach that level. Congrats on your increased growth. I would definitely be interested if you started a trail.

Only on the alt account when i start. I am doing around 4.2/4.3 currently and that is with using votes on comments and other things with little or no curation. I know if I can use the voting power daily on curation only I can achieve this ,but it will mainly be manual curation. The followers I follow now don't have the highest returns so I don't mind that as it is about supporting others. this alt wont have that restriction and will look for the best rewards. I have done some homework on this already and 6 to 7 isn't that high.

It will vary markku. Some posts have two votes on them and some have none. I can't tell you a time right now as each post is different. Wait until I start and you will understand.

If I earned 4 SP per 1000 SP held per week on curation, I’d be earning 5.5*4 = 22 SP per week. I currently earn about 10 SP per week as curation rewards. My weighed average efficiency is about 50%.

Yes that is what you are currently achieving and that is your account and not an alt that just does curation. Think of how many comments you upvote normally. I am on over 18 and have less SP than you. You are trying to compare your account now and can't do that.

BTW, maximizing curation is really simple. Just front run Trending.

I was concerned when I saw that as I thought you might be stuck on a certain time. It is one part that I really enjoy on here now and it can be lucrative.
