When BTC goes down and STEEM goes up, we begin to see just how powerful we are as a community.
Steem is sitting around $4.50 today. Bitcoin hovers just over $9,000.
Together we are all continuing to grow. We are still a little ways away from are highest high at the end of last year/beginning of this year (STEEM was around $8.50 & BTC was around $20,000). I still have much faith in the continued success of STEEM, and crypto as a whole.
I look forward to seeing how it feels once STEEM surpasses where we have already been.
Top 20 here we come. Top 10 eventually. Who knows what comes after that 😉
I am very happy to become active on here when I did. We are destined to succeed here with Steem.

Hi daltono,
Am I seeing or remembering wrong? I have followed the price action between Steem and BTC and until recently, they have moved in the same direction.
BTC moved up and then Steem followed.
Why are they moving opposite now?
I am not complaining that Steem is up 30% on BTC.

No you are correct. For the most part they move together. I was just commenting on the fact that even when BTC has a slow day like today, STEEM is skill crushing it!
