Man! I was such a noob when the price hit $15 for SBD. I didn't even know how to trade and the power up option had been removed.I just remember folk going crazy on the chat forums and some sent me a msg(They must have sensed my noobness) they simply said "Sell you SBD now it will never be this high again". I must have learned about a months worth of crypt-knowledge in 1 night after that msg. lol. I still think SBD will rise to above that but it will take time and the guys behind the scenes could do with addressing some basic issues of the sites functions. It is such a different playing field now SBD is so low but good to see the vibe hasn't changed. Just shows that this site is about more than making a quick $$
I would still come here if SBD was 1c. Facebook can go burn, steemit is the future! Great post.

I know what you mean about the noobness, I still dont understand half of what folks are talking about when they explain why the price is the way it is but THIS I totally identify with...
More than anything I get bummed when I see the price drop, not because of my personal accumulation desires, but because I take it as a symptom of how the platform is doing overall-- there's SO much value here, that it's a no brainer that the currency that represents should have some serious value as well <3

Hey don't get to fussed with the prices of steem. The way I see it is if the platform stayed the same it would still end up getting noticed and we are first in the door with an adaptable framework(from what I hear). It all about switching to digital cash which is coming but they are just doing the usual mind games and letting investors get their "ducks" in order before it goes crypto. People have to be given some say as this is a double edged sword and the two sides have completely opposite agenda, one the free world and the other profit. I guess some kind of compromise will come out of it and we will hopefully get to cash out with a sizable amount either way(For that part we do have to watch the price of sbd) The digital cash system is a trap and we are walking into this horror show, laughing all the way. I would advise anyone to get busy making a fortune so you can have a decent life once your credit rating dictates where you're allowed to travel. The first case of this has happened but that is in China so take it for what it is.

I'm here to support decentralization.
I find the longer I'm here, the more I can FEEL the tides beginning to turn against centralization and the coercion and corruption it upholds.
It's a nice, satisfying feeling inside to watch the coercion and corruption, be exposed, walked away from and no longer tolerated by the masses. The natural consequence of this is that companies will be forced to adapt, be more open or LOSE LOTS OF $$$$$.
I may not be making money, but I'm helping to make history.
What that makes that even more priceless is that the IRS can't tax it, the government can't make me get a license to do it and the more people that catch on?
