Honestly, I am quite dissapointed at this moment. I am actually very angry at myself because I have always been too lazy to figure out how to use cryptocurrencies. I only invested in Bitcoin, LiteCoin and Ethereum by means of a broker. So trading was easy. I never needed to learn how to use a wallet. I was always interested in learning how this works but I always postponed the actual learning.
Yesterday I wanted to buy Steems. I would have liked to convert 1000 $ dollar into Steem. But I couldn't because that would mean I need to make a wallet and sent bitcoins from my broker to my wallet and then convert this into Steem. We are 1 day further and Steem has trippled in value since the moment I wanted to buy it. What makes it even worse is that I know Steem will continue raising. So even now is a good time to buy Steem. But I can't. I will definitely not be surprised if by friday Steem is worth more than Ethereum, meaning I would miss out on a 1000 % gain ... all due to lazyness.
I missed the boat but I promise myself to learn how to use crypto wallets by the end of the week. And for those that weren't as lazy and are benefitting from the huge price increases: Enjoy it !!! I hope for you guys that Steem surpasses Ethereum by the end of the week.
I am interested on this topic i just dont understand how wallet works. This is my first time

Haha, neither do I. Maybe someone can write a post about it ? The person writing a post about it, will definitely get some upvotes. If someone decides to write such a post, could you please reply to us here and pass the link ? I am going to sleep now as it is 3.00 am and will miss the post if you don't pass the link :-).
If nobody posts how to do this, I will find out and make a post about it. I will get back to you in this post and reply with link to my post.

Its called FOMO (Fear of missing out) and that state of mind is pretty much going to guarantee that you buy the very top of the market.
The current price has absolutly no justification other than speculation that people have all their steem locked in Steem Power. This is a beta platform.
Wait for the inevitable massive dump when speculators finished feeding off all the starry eyed fanboys, then wait some more for the platform and the devs actually build a sustainable business model with actual creation of wealth instead of just the current inflation based redistribution. Then buy.
You haven't missed anything.

Of course I am missing out. A bubble is forming. That's a dream of every investor. Imagine buying 1000 $ steem at 1 $, 2 days ago. Now it is at 3.37 $. I could have sold 1000 $ of Steem by now so I would have my initial investment back. So there is nothing to lose anymore, only to win. And when it goes higher, I could sell part of my gains again. Etcetera.

Dont worry there will be a big dump. What goes up must come down.

I am not really worrying. I hope for those that invested in it, they will make profit out of it. I don't want people to get in problems. But at this moment it is already up to 3.36 $. If I would have bought 1000 $ 2 days ago, I would have 3000 $. So I could have sold 1000 $ of my profit and keep the other 2000 $ in Steem. I am well aware that a bubble will be forming that can pop.
