A grey screen?
In the comments section, he states:
"So for now i will just post pics. I'm wondering why a bunch of them appear with a gray screen over them? Any clue? "
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
Is it a feature or a bug?
I am not sure what he means, but please answer him if you know anything about this bug.
He is a talented artist who I hope keeps posting, so I would hate to see him leave due to lack of service. I am not good at coding or posting, so could someone please take this one?

Maybe he is talking about the bug where thumbnail images from the feed lists do not show up sometimes. If that is what he means, the reason is that if your first image in your post has any parenthesis in its URL then the thumbnail in the feed list for that post will just be a grey box. So rename any pics you upload for steemit to something without () in its file name.

My friend experienced this once. She ended up editing it, taking the pic out, then editing it and uploading the pic again. This seemed to solve it..

I experienced grey screen death... but then I fixed it! I realized when you save the JPEG you shouldn't have anything strange... like spaces or odd characters. I had "Don't" in my JPEG name and it turned it grey. When I took out the " ' " in "don't" the grey screen of death went away. Anyways hope that helps! :)

I noticed today when my link to the picture was posted wrong, in the thumbnail on post preview it showed grey. I fixed the tag for the picture and it fixed itself. Double check the coding tag on the original post.
