Steem has a long way to go. I am mystified by how rewards are calculated.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    That's true, after this much time, Facebook barely had changed its name from "TheFacebook".

    It's not mystifying how the rewards are calculated. Simply put, rewards are split 70/30% between authors and curators, but it's a little more complicated than that. That's why slight variations from this distribution appear that may confuse people.
