I wouldn't worry about it too much right now, just think if all the users happen to mention steemit 3 or four times a week to friends and family like I'll be doing then we can slowly get our userbase well over a million , i was on facebook in 2008 and it felt alot like this site a back then, unrefined, new. We will get passed beta and steemit will flourish. Get your friends and family in if they don't want to invest initially, invest in them, once they see how awesome it is the value will go up.
