Hello Steemer
Last month i saw a rare Medical syndrome with my friends who work as obstetrician in same hospital . We was talking about this a lot and had many debate with other doctors about mainly ethical points .
The story begin with nice looking 19 years old female who have no menstruation at all . After clinical examination and work up my friend notice scanty pubic hair in pubic and axillary area with well developed female secondary sexual character and other clinical signs . He suspect rare syndrome and order unusual test ( Karyotype ) . Surprise came , she have testicular feminization syndrome .
Complete Androgen insensitivity syndrome which is another fancy name for same condition is basically failure of male genitalia to developed due to androgen insensitivity and when no androgen stimulation , genitalia naturally proceed to female version , so you end up have nice looking cute female but genetically she is a male . What ?
Yes that exactly what it is , but the real dilemma here how we should treat , rise and label she or he . Actually a lot of argue about this from ethical point of view but as medical advise we tell her parent to rise her as female simply because she live her entire life as female and her friends are female , she is feeling , acting and behaving like female . Some argue that she have the right to decide and most case diagnosed in puppetry because the mean clue is Amenorrhea ( lack of menstruation ) .
Finally i bit you are thinking like us if that make female is the original sex for all human been and that is yes technically because to form male feature you need Androgen and a recenter sensitive to Androgen , in contrast to female feature witch naturally developed . Some time am thinking how stupid those men who think they are Superior in some way or another :)
Note : obviously am not allowed to post her picture so i attached picture from google about this syndrome .
waiting for your opinions :)
hm interesting , the question you rised from this syndrome
