Don't use Steemit anymore... It can be done with a SteemConnect URL, replace ACCOUNT with the desired name (without @). https://beta.steemconnect.com/sign/account-witness-proxy?proxy=ACCOUNT&approve=1

    Seems like the steemconnect URL I found at google started with some version number instead of "beta", and was discontinued ... so this can be done through steemconnect, just the link I found that was wrong.
