80% accurate to steemit, but not as hot ;)
After going through the struckture, I failed to see what the difference between STEEM, STEEM POWER and STEEM Dollar is. This was mainly due to my understanding that you always need STEEM to get STEEM POWER, because I had a steam engine in mind.
After building my model I made a mental picture about the caracteristics of these three things and compared them as follows:
STEEM DOLLAR - Water:
- It is save
- doesn't evaporate
- liquid
- can be converted easily
STEEM - Steam:
- Gets more over time as work is done
- Value flactuates (as does the volume of steam)
- Can be stored but will lose its pressure
- Can be put into a steam engine to produce work (powering up)
STEEM POWER - Steam in the engine = powered Steem:
- More steam in engine = more power
- Is save while in engine
- Puts a bigger punch behind votes
I prefer :
STEEM -> STEAM
STEAM $ -> WATER
STEAM POWER -> ICE
Ice makes sense because it is like steem, but frozen in cold storage.

Makes deffinitly sense if the idea of the steam engine is discarded.
One could imagine that the Blog is made from ice like the wall in GoT :D
