Since when Is Gaming an Investment?

Ya, one time I help a friend win a spaceship worth 15-20k$ at the time.

That asset was used as a transpiration business for a while. flying common folks to millionaires from planet to planet. I mostly sign up to be the pilot when I had trade routes and business deals that where going in the same direction the ship needed to be. That was in Entropia of course.

Very cool. I missed this completely and considering my addiction to Elite over the past 30 years I am rather upset!

You could been a space pirate in Entropia back in the day. The space between planets where pvp with certain items dropping such as ores and crafting mats. There where fools once in a blue moon trying to transport $5k worth of lootables by themselves for pirates to get.

Often times they pay for a pickup in the spaceship and then offline (before they made it so people could not do that without being looted if the ship get shot down).

So I'd get those people. I would fly out to make a hyperjump and get shot down. Most times people logged out when I told them so pirates got nothing. We make another attempt the pirates let us pass. Then when I was back in a safe area at a space station I'd jus tell people to log in its safe.

Good way to build trust with some decently well off people. Since not everyone was so trust worthy and they loot them in pvp space when they logged back in since they did not take them to a space station.
