Thanks @macko for an excellent explanation on ReSteeming - the nuances of curating are confusing at times and this aspect of curation and value-add is well-explained. As a new Steem-er I voraciously look for expertise to curate as I find my own niche of expertise to eventually share here on SteemIt. I would recommend this explanation to newbies and experts alike. Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
