freedom with steem.jpg

Hello Steemians!

I heard the first time of bitcoin in 2009 and thought that it is an interesting idea. Why? Because the idea presented itself to me of gradually regaining the freedom that the state robbed us of with its traditional methods of managing money which are inefficient and counterproductive. The money supply is controlled by central banks, which are entities of the state and financial payment networks, such as Visa and Mastercard, which are corporations and not much better.

Like many early adopters and libertarians, I believed in the original idea of Bitcoin, heralded for its decentralizing nature. It takes power out of the hands of these powerful government agencies and corporations and returns them to the people, maintaining the purity of the Libertarian ideology.
At least that was the belief of many early adopters.

For this purpose, I exchanged views with many people in the infamous cult troll box of BTC-e and experienced a special time with the partly crazy trolls. We were a sworn community and all believed in the self-management of our money and thus our financial freedom. I will remember this time, which was often very funny, with a smile.
Those who were there know what I mean :)

I've been following the Steem community in the background for a while now and eagerly read your posts. During this time I have noticed, and especially in the current situation with the acquisition of Steemit by Justin Sun, that there is a similar spirit here. As an investor and freethinker, I see great potential for the Steem Blockchain (after the introduction of the communities and hopefully soon the SMT's) to write a similar story to Bitcoin in its early days, with both taking on the role of little David against Goliath. In the case of bitcoin it is the finance world while in the case of Steem it is the social media giants und much more, namely the future of governance. As Andreas Antonopoulos once said

"First, they ignore you,
then they laugh at you,
then they fight you
and then you win"
By the way, an original quote from Ghandi.

Unfortunately, I noticed the difficulties with the acquisition of Steemit by Justin Sun. For this I have already read two inspiring solutions from two users (@enginewitty and @argsolver) who unfortunately have received too little attention, so I will write a statement in my next post, why the Steem Blockchain can become the gamechanger in the blockchain industry, as it is about to become a real decentralized platform and blockchain.

As soon as the problem with Justin Sun is solved, I will dedicate myself to my actual project here and start my own community with the vision of "Protopolis". I have already discovered two Protopians:) Namely @edicted and @taskmaster4450le.
More about this later.

I hope to inspire you in the future with my ideas to enjoy a life in freedom and happiness!
