Glad I came across this post. I am new to Steemit and was just browsing with the intent of learning. I had an idea of what are Flagging or downvoting, but this post describes the level of impact that it can bring on the author's earning and indirectly impacting the whole steemit community.
Though the intent of Flagging or downvoting is a good one, but its misuses are devastating.
